Current Solar Projects


BNB Napoleon Solar LLC: Phase 1

In June of 2011, BNB will begin construction of a 9.7MW Photovoltaic Solar project in Napoleon OH at the site of Campbell Soup Company’s largest production facility in the US. BNB will own and operate the solar facility, Campbell Soup Company will purchase the power and First Energy Corporation will purchase the Solar Renewable Energy Credits generated from the plant. BNB is in final contract negotiations with SunPower Corp, for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contract for this project. The project when completed will be amongst the largest net metered solar arrays in the US and will create over 400 construction jobs in Ohio this year.


Hudson Solar LLC

BNB is presently in discussions with several Fortune 500 companies and independent commercial real estate owner/operators to build several commercial scale power plants in excess of 6MW’s each. These projects will support existing corporate responsibility and strategic energy goals of the hosting companies. They will also take advantage of generous net metering and solar renewable energy credits available in the state as well as the US Treasury’s Investment Tax Credit and 100% depreciation initiatives.


BNB Texas Solar, LLC

BNB is developing up to 1,000 MWs of utility scale ground mount solar power plants in the Borden and Pecos County areas of West Texas. With site control on two different locations, each project will be built on land directly adjacent to transmission substations, one existing and one to be built as part of CREZ, (Competitive Renewable Energy Zone).

Barilla Solar: a 500 MW PV site located in Pecos County adjacent to an existing 138kv ERCOT power line owned by AEP. Site is in the best solar resource area, not only in ERCOT but also within the country.

Long Draw Solar: 50-150 MW potential PV site in Borden County located adjacent to the “to be built” CREZ Long Draw Substation, a terminus point for three intersecting 345kv lines dedicated to the transmission of renewable generation only.
